The 4 Ps of Marketing: A Step-by-Step Guide (With Examples)

{ object.primary_image.title }}

The 4 Ps of marketing… You’ve probably heard about them from a friend, a textbook, or even at school. I know it sounds like a boring topic that’s common sense, but there is more to it than meets the eye. And no, it’s not just for large companies… the smaller you are, the more important for you it is to leverage the 4 Ps. So before we dive into it, let’s first break down what they are… What are the 4 Ps of marketing? The 4 Ps of marketing is a famous concept that summarizes the 4 basic pillars of any marketing strategy: product, price, place, and promotion. Mapping Local Essentials: Being the Business that Grows, Sells, or Markets the Beans

{ object.primary_image.title }}

Posted by MiriamEllis Image credit: Kenneth Leung , Michael Coghlan “Dried beans saw a more than 230% increase in demand and rice sales spiked by 166% in that same time.” - ABC How should a business operate now? Where is there work to be done? Economists are making stark predictions about the future of small businesses in the US, but at the same time, I live in a town without a courier service established enough to meet the mushrooming demand for home delivery. Frankly, it’s devastating reading headlines forecasting the permanent closure of 7.5 million American SMBs , but while absorbing these, I also spent six weeks shaking the Internet for bathroom tissue before locating some 1,400 miles away. Point being: Where there’s need, fulfilment can be a public good, and where there’s upheaval, any possibility is worth considering. Necessities are emerging in bold relief on the map of each …

Retention is the new growth

{ object.primary_image.title }}

30-second summary: From now on, the best playbook for hacking your way to growth will be more about leaning into existing customers than acquiring new ones, and more about demonstrating measurable proof of value than about feeding Google Adwords and making micro-optimizations on a webpage. Customer success team are the unsung heroes of many SaaS companies, the ones left to clean up the sins of our past as customers struggle to reconcile what they’ve been told and sold with the more complicated truths of living with a vendor over time. Many companies experience a collective memory loss as the closing plan doesn’t translate into a lasting success plan. Consequently, the customer is left waiting for the promised value to accrue… while everybody else seems to have moved on. Every SaaS leader likes to boast about Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth, but this economy calls for a more acute focus on …

{ object.primary_image.title }}

Posted by ErikaOnLogic In October 2019, our 16-year-old company rebranded from Logic Supply to OnLogic . The recovery from a traffic standpoint has been pretty smooth (and much faster than we expected), and our customers have embraced our new name and look. We want to share our story, the steps we took to prepare for this major change, and some things we learned along the way about what it takes to execute a successful domain transition (with minimal impact on organic results) in an effort to help those facing the same challenge. Take a deep breath, it's going to be okay. First, a little history and background. Logic Supply was founded in 2003 as an e-commerce website that sold components and parts for small form factor computers. Over the years, the company has built up engineering and manufacturing capabilities that today allow us to offer complete industrial and ruggedized computers …

Google Chrome gets major privacy boost: Here’s how to enable DNS-over-HTTPS

{ object.primary_image.title }}

Google adding DNS-over-HTTPS to Chrome, the world’s most popular browser, is a major privacy win. Unlike other browsers, it can’t be said that Google Chrome’s focus is on privacy. And as of today , Google Chrome is getting a massive privacy boost thanks to the inclusion of DNS-over-HTTPS. Read Full Story

As a result, their transformation over the last few years …

To address this problem, and enhance confidence in the campaigns they run, the digital team at Vladimir Jones built an automated budget monitor. At its core, the automated budget monitor is a tool that pulls your daily advertising spend (actual spend, not your budget amount) for each campaign over a given timeframe and highlights any spikes that are worth your attention. You can create additional budget monitors on separate tabs of your Google Sheet for any other platforms to which Supermetrics connects, such as Facebook Ads, Twitter Ads, Pinterest Ads, and Microsoft Advertising (Bing). In digital marketing, managing …
