The outcome of a unionization vote in Alabama could have historic implications for the e-commerce giant. It could also be a massive win for workers’ rights. Yesterday was the last day for Amazon workers at the Bessemer, Alabama, fulfillment facility to vote on whether they should unionize and be represented by the Retail, Wholesale, and Department Store Union (RWDSU). The outcome of that vote could have historic implications for the world’s largest e-commerce retailer.
