This food looks delicious but is actually loaded with plastic

What happens when a food branding company turns its lens on environmental travesties. The golden lager calls my name with an inviting, frothy head. The oysters are topped with an El Bulli-approved foam. The images appear to tease a night of delicious eating and drinking. Hand sanitizer is being packaged like kids’ candy—and big companies are profiting from it

{ object.primary_image.title }}

The FDA has warnings about hand sanitizer that looks like food. We had no idea how egregious the problem was until we looked for ourselves. Under no circumstances should you ever drink hand sanitizer. You’d think that’s a given, and yet, hand sanitizer companies have been packaging their product in containers that imply it’s food and using all sorts of cartoon branding to attract children.
