Hackers could have used Comcast’s X11 voice remote to spy on homes

Until a recent fix, a bad guy might have been able to seize control of the Xfinity X11’s microphone and use it to record audio in your household. Comcast’s Xfinity X11 remote—which features a much-touted voice control feature—had a security flaw that could have theoretically let a hacker use the device to bug your living room.
