After a winter storm and extreme cold temperatures rocked the state of Texas, millions remain without power. These resources let you track the situation. Millions of Texans remain without electricity on Tuesday after extreme cold and winter weather strained the state’s power grid. Huge basins of floating warm water could be used to heat the city. By 2035, the city of Helsinki plans to be carbon neutral. Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz left the state for a Ritz-Carlton stay in Cancún. It was yet another sign that elected leaders are often completely out of touch with the people they represent.
